First is my fastest run (46.4+1) followed by a shot of the steering wheel.

Next is a second view from back window, my first two runs of the day, very slow as I was scrubbing armor all off from Autorama, made the car VERY slippery. Watch my hands in the second turn, you'll see me suddenly countersteer and hold it for most of the corner...yeah, it got away from me.

No I havent read that book yet. Perhaps one day. I have rear "A twist of the wrist" though. Its motorcycle biased, but its remarkable how the main themes apply to performance automobile driving (looking ahead, throttle control, etc, etc). Its a good read even if you dont ride.

I'll definitely check it out.

Likewise with Secrets of Solo Racing, there is a lot of very newbish information, so you can breeze through it quite fast, but there's more than enough to keep the experienced racer interested and well worth the read. It certainly solidified many ideas and practices in racing, and opened my mind to new ones. I'd say it's made me a more thoughtful, and a bit more consistent driver. Definitely worth the purchase.
