Ok so I live in chelmsford and I was wondering if anyone knew any shops around that give out stickers so to speak. Magoo?

I just checked out Lowell for some good/sketchy places. The sketchy one I liked is Louis Garage and Car sales or Lous.I probably will go to Lous because the guy said they never lift up the car and don't care about rust. My framerails are rusted pretty bad. Not outside rust anymore.

So it looks like I am almost in the clear. But Magoo could you get back to me about if the guy does complete state inspections or just emissions or just safety. Karma to you.

i can deff hook u up wit safety inspection. did u just get the car? if u did u will need da emmision sticker. n then next yr u will need the safety. but if ur car is 95 or older, then u dont need the emmision sticker cuase they liftin that test.

I got my car last october and the inspection is in august. So its not a dual test, its one or the other? I looked at the sticker its just said ES. Is that a code for Emissions or or...

That means you need safety only this year assuming you didn't change the plates on the car between your last inspection and now.

If you never had it inspected since you've owned it, then you should need both.

But as Magoo said, they're getting rid of emissions testing for 95 and older. I thought that it was gone as of October, but maybe it's already been done.

I know that in July I had a car inspected and the dyno machines were still in the bay.

That's what got me thinking they might have gotten rid of it early.

My MG was inspected in July I think it was and the dyno was still there.
