again on the garage issue.

for anyone who wants to browse the garage, there is a way to do it for now until Scoob gets the files changed out.

currently, when u click the "next page" or any of the numbers buttons this is what you get

http....mx6.com/forums/vbgarage.php?do=$_REQUEST[do]&perpage=25&page=2

where the 2 is the page you're trying to get to.

however, if you type this in instead
http.....mx6.com/forums/vbgarage.php?do=list&perpage=25&page=2

again, the 2 being whatver page you want to go to (can be 3, 4, 5....basically as high as there are pages)

it'll take you to that page.

also doing that i'm fairly certain u can change how many it shows per page. so where it says "perpage=25" in theory, you should be able to change it to "perpage=50" and it'll show 50. but i havent tried it myself.

I believe the Max for the # per page is 200.

The MX6.com FAQ for the site as well as the options on the site is very hard to find.

In *all* of the the 1G FAQ sections, it is impossible to "show threads from beginning"... it will change it back to "45 days".

All of the FAQs should be sticky, all of the time, don't you think? The FAQ's shouldn't dissappear if they are older than the forum's default display period (last 30 days), because most of the faqs are *more* that 30 days old... doh!

I wanted to post a link to the inertia files... but... I have to search to get it. That's kinda annoying. I *know* where it is. I should not have to search.

When I log into the forums, I won't stay logged in, I have my cookies right because all other forum I go to I stay logged in for days and days. so ya.


Also, a suggestion would be to change your forum software to IPB, has everything you want plus more.
galleries, blogs, arcade allot more.

I've noticed the interface is different now, rather than the text just appearing red, it will show {COLOR="Red"}thisisred{/COLOR} in the text box. With brackets instead of squigly brackets of course.

What he is trying to say is, you get a Basic editor not capable of using HTML, and we have lost the option of switching back and forth.

i like it that way actually. it makes adding pics to threads MUCH easier.

I agree, but I liked being able to switch back and forth to see what you did without having to hit preview.
