What? There are no times. I have seen N/A KL's in the 11's. With FI or nitrous a KL will easily do 300 HP, something F2-T's have trouble doing.

I'd love to see that. Did they strip out the whole interior and remove the trunk, hood, fenders and doors?
Nope he put it in a 323 hatch

I love Mazda's I like the second gen, but with a bone stock auto 88 gt 626 5door (heavier then an mx6), 20 year old car, scored it for 200$ cause the trany wouldn't shift, trany got flushed with clean fluid a few times, through in a 60$ chip and a 20$ boost controller and the car ran 14.6 1/4's.
When I fix 2nd gens at my shop I use some parts from the first gens. It isn't a question of car preference it's a question of quality and build date, the 1st gen was built at a time when things where built to last.
The 20 year old rubber clutch hose on the 1st gen stays as stiff/tight as the day it was put on the car, usually the rubber hose on the 2nd gen is swollen and soft. (use a 1st gen hose from a junk yard to stiffen a soft pedal on a 2nd gen).
The dash and door panels are more durable and built of better material then the plastic rattle parts of the 2nd gen. (Not a car preference, again just build time).
The 88-92 is the most over built/durable mx6 I have seen, the 79-82 626 coupe and 83-87 626 coupe (which are basically mx6's or mx6 are 626 coupes) aren't built as durable as the 1st/3rd gen.
But in all fairness to this thread the 93-97 MX6 LS is a future classic and will soon join the ranks of the 79-82 626's, the 83-87 626's and most memorable/awesome the 88-92 626/MX6GT.
It will never be as great as the first gen MX6 but it's still a great car
Just suck to work on
