Mazda Announces Mazda2 EV Lease Program in Japan

Mazda has just announced that starting next year it will begin leasing an all electric versions of its new Mazda2 sub-compact. Few details are available, but the EV will have a driving range of 200 km (124 miles) and the lease program will be offered to government agencies and fleet customers in Japan.

This expansion into the electric car market is a part of Mazda's larger "Building Block Strategy" that is primarily focused on reducing vehicle weight and improving fuel economy through traditional methods. This includes Mazda's SkyActiv engines, which will debut later this year, delivering as much as 70-mpg in the Mazda2.

In addition, Mazda is currently working on hybrids systems and will look to add regenerative braking to its models in the future.

I have a 93 mazda mx6 4cyl auto trans and I just bought this car .It run's great shifts hard sometimes and delays in shifting . When I look at the dash there is a hold light that comes on and blinks at me I dont know what that means . The car dident come with the owners mannuel. So could someone tell me what that light means ? Please
