Anyone wanna toss me a KL02 vaf and a DE ECU for a dyno?

Just curious to dyno my MX3 with ZE using these components instead of my JE50 and Probinator.

I don't need the parts permanently, just want to throw on, do a dyno run, and after that I doubt I'd have any use for them, so you can have them back. If you got some spares, let me know.

If you want money for them, as in a sale, I could swing it if it's reasonable, but I'd rather not buy.

Info in this thread (Does KL02 + DE ECU run leaner than JE50 + Probinator?).

I'm in Seattle, btw.

My MX-3 is a 94, so I would imagine a 94 ECU would be a proper match. I have both coolant sensors wired in, though (because I'm using a Probinator), so a 93 ECU will probably work as well. I'm OBDI.

If the 95 is OBDI, then either one would work, I think. Can I pick 'em up this weekend? I'll dyno next week, and bring them back.

Cool. I'll call you Fri night or early Sat. Not sure about my schedule yet.

Expect a ring from Gene, though.

Hey, did the dyno today. Here are the results.

Seems like MX-6 is actually a better option, so now how much do you want for the ECU and VAF? Unless of course you actually need them, then you can have them back.

What, $40 for both ECU and VAF? Because if you got PayPal, I'll send you the moneys.

i wonder if probinator and je50 are supposed to work together or not. when I tried my probinator with the je50, it didn't work too well. worked much better with aspec vaf

also, have you tried a kl31 with the je50? stoker100 has been trying to figure out why it's been running rich when at WOT. I got a 93 kl31 chip if you want to try it out with the je50, but not sure when you'd be going to the dyno. actually next time you go, let me know, i'd be interested in seeing how my numbers are with my kl31 and je50 and see how rich i'm running

I have a feeling that the version of Probinator we use in MX-3s is a bit different. Ryan knows we got JE50, so if it didn't work right, he wouldn't offer it to us.

Some MX-3 guys (myself included) tried using Probinator with KL02 VAF and it barely ran.
