the problem is ..zombiess chip is not an upgrade, u actually lose power running it with stock boost, in order to benefit from that chip u will need to turn up the boost or put the stock back on.

damn dude i had a feeling about that, not that i felt a difference but when you think about it, the zombiess must be compensating fuel because its expecting more boost, so without turning up the boost your just wasting time running rich.
Get a electronic boost controller (does the zombie chip get rid of boost cut?, MBC's tend to spike) and turbo back exhaust and next time you go there expect a high 14.

yep running excessively advance timing and moreso, its already been dyno proven to loose hp at stock boost, basically the car runs richer than rich, since the stock ecu already runs rich.
I ran 15.2 twice and 15.3-15.4 consistant when I just had CAI. Now that I'm getting Steelcity6's built motor we'll have to see what I can get.

ZE IM, 65MM TB, Millenia S injectors, HS Headers, MBX Underdrive pulley, Intrax Springs, HS CAI, 2.5" Random Tech Hi-flo cat, 2.5" VRS Exhaust w/magnaflow resonator and muffler, HS STS, NGK plugs, Iridium IX spark plugs, JMUSPIKE ground wires and FD wheels. 14.91@93.74 mph before the ZE IM, 65MM TB and Millenia S injectors were installed and a leaking exhaust. Right now clutch is starting to slip on fast shifts from 1st to 2nd.
I am not going to get into a big who-ha about this but that is not always true.
Obviously. I would say my 2nd gen(and bassicaly every other boosted 2nd gen) is faster then 80-90% of 1st gens on this site. But like when it comes to basic modifications that almost EVERY boy racer does (I/H/E for a NA car, Exhaust, MBC, Chip for turbo car) the 1st gens are quicker.
If you want to go a bit further and add boost for a few k into a 2nd gen, then do the same by adding a larger turbo and standalone for a 1st gen, prob the 2nd would be atiny bit more infront. More or less, they are pretty evenly matched though dollar - power wise. Majority of times, it comes down to the indivudial condition of the engine/car.
I didnt say 80-90% of Active 1st genners . Most owners on this (and on the road as well) site barely get more then an exhaust setup when it comes to go fast bits.
80% average 1st genner = exhaust, chip, more boost.
80% average 2nd genner = exhaust + maybe ZE(whole/or bits).
My car(and everyother boosted v6, nothing special about my car) is alot faster then a slightly higher boosted 1st gen .

So you are 'attacking' me why? Is it because of the wide sweeping statements I am making that obviously arent true in every mx6, but is perfectly fine in general chit chat. Or would you like me to be a geek and start pulling numbers out my ass before I talk?
