It runs much better now. I think it just has a bad fuel pump relay. I also checked the trans fluid and it was low. I toped it up and it engages in drive now. I dont know if it shifts to 3rd or 4th yet since its blocked by the truck now but I have high hopes.

And considering what its replacing...[QUOTEOriginaly posted by Tem]oh and that buick made me cry a bit.

Bah! the things a rattle trap. I dont know how bad it'll be when I have a new suspension on it but I'm sure it'll never match the 6 in build quality and feel.

On the 6 strut bars are nice. On any F body they should be manditory. Hell the brake booster assembly moves about 1/2 inch when I press the pedal !

And as much fun as the thing is it just cant match the 6 for lightness and responsive handling.

BTW both the 6 and TA have almost identical 1/4 mile times.

its a good 1/4 mile track but they r still very new to the whole import crowd. but as long as you dont let them bother you. there usually is a good amount of imports out there. they have a t&t every fri untill dark so thats the best time to go. then they hold actual races on sunday

that works better on my schedule. Muncie is full of the older muscle cars, but we all get along fine out there. I just don't like the 1 hr drive to get there. Is there a website for this track? I want to check them out

From Goshen its about 20 mins, so it may be just as far as Muncie for you. Its a decent track, older, probably built in the 70's and its a typical concrete track with some cracks and a bunch of weeds at the end so if you can't stop you find yourself in a field.

When I first started there were not many imports, maybe 5-6 including myself and it was very rare to see any girl out there racing regardless if it was import, domestic, or what not. I got alot of hassle and at first was really defensive about it, but then I turned it into a bit of a joke and some of them started being very "grandfathery" to me... even trailering my car home for me after I blew the top end of my engine after a run with a 75 shot of nitrous.

I think its only $30 to participate in the T & T and you can take as many runs as you can until it gets dark. If you come up, let me know, I might consider running the miata again just for old times sake.

My car was dooing something very similar but it was jsut the VCG leaking oil onto the blugs and wires and messing them up... so If its nother of those than by default I think ti may be the disty... try a junkyard man they wont be very expensive there and if not just try an autoparts store it will be close to a 100 bux but if its not the problem clean it up nicely and return the bitch.
