93 mx6 ZE vs 97 PGT ZE

driving home from the wifey's house tonight, pulled out onto the main drag. A car pulled out behind me with just fogs on...looks like a probe to me, but was dark and im horrible at calling out cars.

Deciding whether to go straight or left to go home, i wait to see what way he swerves to (he is behind me). He goes to the right toward the highway...[fizzle] it, i will too...and run him...

I get on the 2 lane highway that leads to the 101. He gets beside me and i hear high revs. i can't drop...car in front, damnit.

We both take the onramp to the 101, SWEET.

Im behind him at this point, in second and gun it coming on the highway. Only one car ahead of us in the distance, and i have the jump on him since i dropped first. I put a good lead on him, but was unfair since i got a headstart. I slow down to speed limit, cruise past car in front of us and switch over. He catches up and we match speeds at about 100 km/hr.... i drop to third, he does the same.

Mash the gas, neck and neck from 3-5th then i put about 1 car length on him through 5th to about 205 km/h.

I signal for him to pull over at a fast food joint, we chat a bit. It was my buts old PGT ZE from a few years back...he dynoed 176 whp, i dynoed 173 whp.

His mods:
CM stage 3
Fidanza
MSD window switches for VRIS
lightweight crank pulley
Borla Cat back
Headers
Cold air intake

My mods:
Hotshot headers, injen CAI, 2.5 inch crush bent exaust, lightened flywheel, 6 puck clutch (unkown brand), and tuned by an unknown chip/tuner.

Good race, long time since i raced, and this was the first REAL race in the new mx6.

This PGT used to stomp my old MX6, so im pleased to know im DEFINATLY faster now, so 14s shouldn't be a problem....if i don't break anything between now and then LOL

Thanks for reading

pictou is pretty hickish lol

Im in the main city, Halifax/Dartmouth.

But yes, our roads are horrible, absolutely death...

I dont even have my car lowered and i have everything i need to get 'er done. There is a local car forum that is talking about the road conditions around here and having debates on whether our gov't should repave roads or make another bridge in halifax to stop traffic congestion and decrease travel time lol

But yea, you wouldn't see much around pictou, or anywhere in NS, unless you came to halifax, maybe sydney or Truro.
