Another 350z under my belt!!! - ProbeTalk.com Forums

this time this one was modded. I was in the MCdonalds parking lot tonight and after coming out i see this Evo and a 350z. So i get in my car with the intent to go home and as i am leaving the parking lot i see the EVO and the Z pull up on me really quickly. The evo rev'ed on me from behind as i am awaiting the on coming traffic to pass. We get to the light in the turning lane and the light turns green and i make the turn and i punch it 1st,2nd and part of 3rd. I look back after i have gotten out of it and they both come flying past me.

As they as just riding side by side i am behind the 350. So then i hear them down shift to get ready and off they went. The EVO pulled the 350 with no problem. I am about 2 cars behind and i hit it and i pull him HARD!!! we started about 40mph and we got up to about 130!! By this time i had him by 4cars and still going.

So then i slow down and i get beside him and he asks me to blow and i tell him to just go. He hits it and gets about 1/2half car on me and pull him about 4 cars from 60 roll. Then we go from a 20 roll and i tell to go when he his ready. He hits it and almost immediatly i pull and by 100 i had him by about 6-7 cars. Then he and the Evo turn off after that.

If gas wasnt over 4 bucks a gallon I would take a trip just to give you a race story worth posting.

Are you talking about racing me??? As of that day i have gained another 20hp and 15 tq. So you must be talking about running me in your talon??????

Imagine for a moment that it was 6 bucks a gallon like it is in NZ?

How about 8 bucks a gallon like it is here in the UK?

Amen to that, power claims like mine should be marked as bogus until proved otherwise ;-)

Speaking of which, since yesterday, I picked up 27hp by adjusting the curve of my fake dyno graph :-) That puts me on a somewhat optimistic 412 crank hp :-) LOL, yeah right.

260hp and 285tq this is with the addition of a top mount I/C vs. 240hp and 258tq with out it. You read the thread and you will see what my car has. If you want a video of me going down the track i will provide that as well. My best before the intercooler was a 13.4@100 with a 1.71 60ft and i only made 3 passes with that set up. Now when i hopefully go saturday for the impost shootout at MIR saturday i am trying for the 12's.

I did not get a video for the Z races as it was a spur of the moment race. When i get to the track this saturday i hope to have someone video tape it for me. You want to bring your talon come on!! I know you are NOT talking about that 6s

I am not one to call anyone out to race as i can have my AZZ handed to me anyday but i don't like when someone calls me out.

If you want to have a race and IF you beat me with one of those that are listed then i will pay for your gas here and back!!! I hvae been a long time member on this forum and probetalk and i have no time to lie about anything that i have done. There is no point...

i am not sure where the other 2 vids are but they were 2 13.5 passes both with sub 1.80 60fts!!! This was all done without the top mount installed. Anything else you need?

260hp?? and you run 13.x? good effort lol. sounds like the f2t trick of massive torque spike falling away too fast.

Man what is YOUR problem? You think that it is a coincidence that MY name is CHARLES and the video that was shot by someone else posted MY name on the video and ALSO on the forum that you read about the DYNO plot that you requested has MY name on one it..... Or should i check to to see IF my name is really charles... If you go to probetalk and look at my sig that i have had for YEAR just like on here and you will see my sig states that i have a speed6!!!

There are plenty of people on here that knows and SEEN my car in action. So if that is not enough PROOF then you just keep beliving what you want. PHIL (ademan) was the car that i raced in that video. You can ask him!! Or unless you think that HE is lyeing as well.

It takes you just as long to click to open the racing forum as it does to click the link... But if this soothes the situation then it is fixed and i will fix the other one as well.

Yes, like I said, with only 260hp, that is a damn good effort IMO. Well done.

No need to get your knickers in a twist ;-)

Still, having looked at those graphs, I was right about the torque curves... rising fast and falling on their face early. Free up the top end and you will be much faster again.

Wow u must be an Uber Z Killer!!!! Grats to your ILLEGAL street racing Enjoy it. One day you will get caught and they will take your car. it will be a sad day for you but make the streets safer for the rest of us. LoL FYI I Dyno' my Z at 278.4 HP and 260lbs of torque STOCK. No Boost... 13's and high 12's STOCK.
