89 MX6 VS new V8 Mustang

I was heading home after work and saw a kitted mercury cougar trying to race a New Mustang.
I pulled a U-turn and followed, as I was catching up to them they came to a stop sign and after getting his ass handed to him the Cougar driver turned off.
The mustang driver continued ahead and turned onto the highway driving like he was still racing, I followed and had to push the car a bit to catch up, as I was closing on him (at 150 km/h), he noticed me and floored it (I guess expecting to leave me behind), I gave it more gas and started closing on him, this got his attention.
He pulled into the right lane and I pulled up next to him, as soon as my pumper was at his driver door he punched it, we where going about 140 km/h, due to my hack job waste gate I cant floor the car or the boost spikes into the high 20's.... so as usual I build up to flooring the car, he took about a car length on me when he floored it and another while I was working up to flooring it by 180km/h I had passed him buy a car length and shifted into 5th, I let him catch up to me and we went again, this time I was already spooling and in 5th gear (my cars fastest in 5th) from 180km/h to 205km/h I put about 10 car length's on him and let off.
I waited for him but he had enough and didn't want to play anymore.

I know a mustang isn't much of a kill but it was all nice and shiny with tinted window's, pimp rims and wide/ low profile tires, my 89 MX6 GT didn't do well being driven last winter, it has some nasty spots around the rear quarters, a dent on the hood, the fender has shoty body work and red primer on it, done by the guy who sliced it opened with his snow plow, the cars running on 15" American Racing Estrella rims in rough shape and bald 205/50 tires and the car is filthy . I am sure it's a shock to people when it passes them.

I will say the 2008 v8 Mustang with 300 hp and 320 tq moves fairly well for a very heavy car, I was impressed by how quickly it responded when he floored it, it seemed to handle well also, he took the corner onto the highway at well over 100 km/h.
