"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The man who had nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety is a miserable creature, and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." -John Stuart Mill
Yep, and it will do 0-60 in 4.9. Thats with a 5 speed and a good driver though

even an auto would be fairly quick i would think.....300 hp even with the [shizzle]tier auto would be faster than a 170 hp mx6 i would think....maybe im wrong?
I've seen mostly stock autos go 14.9's-low 15's... should be a good race for a ZE
94 mx6 - you name it - I did it, came up with it, tried it and rejected it or just plain still have it. 93 mx3 - klze, i/h/e, rims and paint.. daily driver. 98 jeep GC - 5.9L with bolt ons, lifted, locked. 32x10.5 Goodyear MTR winter/ 30x9.5 bfg ta/ko summer
to the rx-7: top-mount intercooler vs. front mount? i dont see alot of top mount intercoolers on 7's..
and if that 300 is TT AND auto, its hard to say... no shift lag, but lesser acceleration im assuming. personally i would stop at 300whp>200(?). but thats just me.
i say do it for fun ^_^ i race cars what whoop my ass all the time just for [shizzle]s and giggles. its great.

Shoot these days i've seen it more common to have a top mount, looks way better IMO, plus less lag with less piping. The car's 400whp, tuned.
On the Rx7, it is actually a "V" mount setup, not a top mount. The radiator and intercooler form a V to trap air instead of trying to pass through both. It is used in Rx7's because a front mount can restricts to much air from reaching the radiator and cause very high water temps. To the OP just race him, its not like anyone will think less of you if you lose.
Very true. But the VG, VH, VK, etc, were all versions of the VQ. The series changed later, but very little actually changed between them all.
No matter the block code, he still has no problem against the car once in power band.
Wrong, the VG and VQ motors are entirely different. The VG is iron block and closed deck the VQ is alloy with an open deck (except for the GTR variant I hear). It's an entirely new motor un related to the VG. Wont even swap with the VG directly.
[quote=You're skipping racing fuel and going with airplane fuel? You know that prop planes use 115-120 octane, and that will most likely melt everything in your engine if you run it for too long. [/QUOTE]
Running high octane will do nothing at all to your motor. It will lighten your wallet though. EDIT: though plane fuel usualy contains lead and that will eventualy kill a cat.
