Checked back later, saw he was online, but no response, sent an e-mail.

I'm really sorry but I have an offer for 25.00, if you can come up with the extra 5.00 it's yours ( because you're first) if not I will reimburse you your 20.00 from paypal.
Sorry this has never happen before that so many people are after this part.
No word of a lie I have had over 20 emails on this alone.
I really sorry but money is money.

sorry again and I WILL refund your money!

Completing the deal, though, money in hand, an agreed upon amount, then backing out because you got higher "bids" on the sold item is a really [shizzle]ty way to do business. It's worthy of negative seller ratings.

Thanks anyway.
I have no doubt that he will refund the money. That's not what this is about. Once it is sold, it is sold. If you list it for not enough money, then that's your problem. This wasn't presented to me in the FS forum as an auction...

As I said in my last response, I could understand if it was about losing money for PayPal fees ($0.88 BTW) I would have agreed to that... Actually, the shipping quote was $19.32 and he told me to send $20.00, that's $0.68 of the PayPal fees made up right there.

Anyway, if you are a seller and list an item for not enough money, and then realize it only after it's already sold, TFB - IT'S ALREADY SOLD.

James

Thumbs up

Update:

Mazdevil offered to complete the transaction for the additional money owed to cover his expenses. PayPal sent, case closed.
