NNNNNNNNNNICE!!!!!!

Notice he was just logging in yesterday and making posts. It literally takes two seconds to log into paypal and another say 10 seconds to issue a refund. Had he done it when he said he did it, se7en would have had his money back almost instantly.

I KNOW THIS FOR A FACT because I JUST WENT THROUGH THIS with another member who sent me broken parts. I kept it quiet so long as he cooperated (and he did) and he issued my money back right away. He issued the refund and it came THE SAME DAY. The refund also wasn't enough due to fees and shapping back to him so he paid more, which also came THE SAME DAY.

IMO- dimak was just stalling for time....and not very good/smart at it either

I gotta say this is a bit weird for me to read because i've dealt with dima on the site and in person more than a few times and he was always really helpful with my 6 and always had good cheap parts for me when i needed them.

I realize that there could be some sort of misunderstanding, but I am still out parts or money.

somewhere in the 2 months that it took him to decide to deal with this matter, something happened. I wish I knew what happened.

Hopefully soon, this matter will be dealt with.

and on a side note, it I had the chance to go and see him personally, I think that I would have gotten my parts already

Unfortunately, I live half a country away.

that sucks man , ive been in the same situation ... im still out 100gbps for some parts the seller in uk decided not to send me, unfortunately for me it was on another website on which the mods dont care.

If he did post it via Canadapost to the US.. he should have a reciept along with a copy of the complete discription of the item (address sender and recipient , weight , value , date etc) for cdn customs.

ya, you're right, but if he did, he sure isn't in much of a hurry to clear his name.

I wish that paypal wasn't such a scam too.

dude, paypal is not a scam (for the most part). Like I said, I just dealt with this the other day myself. The refund was issued and I recieved it that day. The problem here is that dimak took the money out of paypal and has not returned it. If he would have issued you a refund when he said he did, you would have had it already.

Bottom line is that it does not matter if someone "was always cool" or was "always nice" or "helped me out" or "helped people out". That has nothing to do with ripping people off. People get weird around/about money, especially when they don't have it, need to pay it back, etc etc etc.

Bottom line is that dimak ripped him off- has no doubt seen goatcrapps reply, and has not said a word. Email for goatcrapp still works regardless if dimak is banned. So what now?

ya, I understand. Paypal just seems confusing sometimes....

it seems weird that dimak sent a screen shot of his "payment" and then it never showed up.....

strange.

that would be hilarious if he photoshoped it or something!!!!

ah well, 'what now' is what I am thinking too.

"for the most part" is the key. One time I payed someone fro a proiduct thru them, then the guy disappeared off the face of the planet. of course I filed a claim, and it was awarded in my favor, but since he didnt have any money in his account, there was no way for them to give me my money back. So I was just SOL.

Or if they ship you a package with nothing in it, Paypal still sides with them because a tracking # was provided, and the package was delivered (They dont care if the goods were received or not)

From experience, the SAFEST way to use paypal is to keep a really low balance in your account and use your credit card as the main funding source. Even if the claim goes over the 30 days (or whatever paypal's rules are), if you keep all your emails and fax them to (in my case VISA) your cc company, they'll credit your cc account and PAYPAL will have to deal with your cc card company and all you are out is the $5 or so that you kept in your pp account. This is what I do when making large purchases and I only learned this after being screwed royally by pmo and another member on this site.....

you wouldn't call 911 certainly.. but find his local precinct and ask to speak to a detective. depending on the size of the locale, they may/may not care about it, *but* it has to be registered regardless... the complaint will have to go on record. his record. A few complaints like that, if he's ripped anyone else off, or plans to, and a uniform will come knocking on his door.

The term you want to use is mail fraud, and in this case it was perpetuated through an online transaction.
