I realize its the principal of it, but do you want to spend money to go to his place?

Youll most likely get an assult charge on you if you do anythign to him, or if he isnt home at the given time you show up youll get a vandalizing charge.

I totally understand where you are comming from.

argghh...i calculated tolls and gas and time.

$60 toll total
$60 gas total
14 hours driving total

If it was California or some far place like that, then i would just let it go. But Maine is 3 states north of me, should I just let it go? And i'm not going over there with guns and knives. lol. i'm going to contact the authorities in Maine. There's a police station 5 miles away from the address, I'll let them kno the situation and hopefully they'll help me out.

It's kinda funny though. My friend was telling me how it would be when we get there. He said that we'll stick out like a sore thumb because i'm Colombian, he's Black, and we'll rolling around in Maine in an import car.

well, have you thought of this aspect, maybe he gave yoy a different adress, not his but maybe a buddy that is in on this w/ him so that if and whe nyou/cops show up to his place the guy can be like "well ive never heard of him in my life" and then the cops would be like "ok well lets get outta hear he's wasting our time"

just another scenario

I was going to say 800 shipped for 20's with spinners and tires shipped. to good of a deal, another thing. Cancel your shipment notify fed ex asap.

was this a trade for stereo stuff and money or just a even swap?

Guys beware when you buy. Just think.

he's only been a member for like a month or so.

an example
I sign up for 2 months on 10 sites I visit each day and say blah blah about the car on the sites, get my post up to a few counts then I toss up a good deal, post open to trades, then people say hey ill trade such and such for your stuff. they give a addy to there buddies house. he gets it, 90% never have to sign for it. fed ex drops the stuff off. Even if the police go by no way of proving it was dropped off, or stolen from the steps of there house.

In the end I robbed countless people and have countless stuff. Yeah we might not think about calling the cops for a couple of hundred bucks but times that by 10 sites.....

Now no one think about doing this....
On a side note I would make the drive and kick his ass. or whoever got the package.

contact authorities and don't take no for an answer and if they insist on doing nothing ask them what they would do in this situation or if you do decide on going to his house it doesn't matter how big you are unless he's reading this thread he wouldn't expect you to come, if the address is real at all. and if he tries anything call the police

anyways sorry for your loss and i hope things work out

it was a trade for JL AUDIO w3's for my JL AUDIO w0's and an amp. And i didn't take how many posts into account. kinda got excited. that was a mistake on my part. I made him send it out first...checked the tracking...then sent mine. Only USPS doesn't tell you the final destination of the package. I had a backup plan if anything to call fedex and ship my package back to me, but they're lightning quick shipping made it get there the next day.

And I've already made up my mind of driving up there. I'm calling the police today and telling them to expect me to arrive. AND it doesn't matter if it's not his place. Someone DID sign for it at that address, so that someone knows the whereabouts of the package. Thanks guys for all the support. I learned my lesson and i hope everyone reads this so that this won't happen to them.

Well, Kansas, I don't mean to call and say I'm coming down with a shotgun so expect someone to die. lol. I mean that I'll be coming down so that they can come with me. I called the station in Norridgewock, ME. The police are suuuper nice, he listened to what i had to say, i explained my situation, and he agreed with me that it wasn't right. So, he asked if i had proof of shipment and confirmation, and i do. He took down my info and the bitche's info and told me he's going to check it out right away. He told me to expect a call by the end of the night from him. He seemed like he really cared. Most cops just brush it off and say, "well, we don't have time for little cases such as yours."

I'll keep all of you posted as to what happens. And yes, I'm taking a trip up there tomorrow.

wish me luck guys, I'm leaving later this morning the 26th. It's about a 6 hour drive, hopefully my car won't give me any trouble. If you don't hear from me by Monday that means I either didn't return home, or I'm dead. lol. there's always a possibility that the guy might have a shotgun. but yeh, if anyone feels like coming with, i'll be passing through the states from NJ-ME, I have navigation and I can get to you.
