Oh man I love how you can collapse the forum sections...that wasn't available on the old site was it? If it was I can't believe I never noticed it before.

Great Job! The site looks great! I just had the same opinion about the light banner vs. dark forum body not working, and empty space to the left like stated before. One other suggestion/question about the new version: Is it capable of automatically re-sizing pictures so they don't expand the edges of the thread 3 feet to the right? I'd love it if it could size the picture down to fill the normal size post automatically if it's too big, and then give you the option to click on it to view it full size.

One other minor thing I noticed. If I hover over the Up arrow to increase the size, it comes up with "Decrease Size" and vise versa for the down arrow.

Scooby, I didnt know i fi should post this publicly, but i do not see why i shouldnt.

I am by no means disliking the main banner, but it appears that alot of other members are not liking the bright blue.

I was thinking we could have a photoshop contest to design a site banner. I know there are some good graphic artists here, and i think it would be a good idea.

Heres a little something i whipped up real quick just to test the waters.

Looks pretty good. I like the idea for a Pshop contest for the main banner.

Everyone please keep in mind that we are not through. We did just enough to get us moved over, but this is really just the beginning.
I spent over a year configuring the old sight and I have only been working on this one a couple of months.

I am all for editing the top banner. I am rethinking a number of items. I have not had much luck in the past opening it up to a contest or a poll. I am open to design ideas, but I would prefer to do the graphics myself unless I can find someone who is a professional.

All the site graphics have to be broken up and incorporated into a very complex HTML templating system.

^^ Think of it like a new house. You just moved all the boxes into the new home. Now you need to unpack everything and organize how you want your home to look.

Can you be more specific? I know that I have been having trouble with IE during this change.

There is no "What's going on", "Users online" "Statistics" on the left side. And the Search and Settings buttons on top kick me out when I click on them, I have to log in again.

Sounds like you are not running any Javascript.
Make sure that MX6.com is not in your "blocked" sites list and that you have javascript enabled.

It might just be me, but I can no longer find the "New Posts" link that would usually be under the Search menu.
-----

Also, not sure if you care, but the site no longer fits 1024 width in firefox which really only matters to users with tablets or older PCs.
