Yeah, there should be less ads for donating members or something. I'm still not sure if I'm comfortable donating to a company that is already making money off the ads on the site, I was all about donating to Sean. But if there's a less ads for donating members deal, I'm all about it.

Keep in mind that there are no donations set up right now at all.
The idea was that members would be allowed to buy special privileges on the site that cost more money to offer. So the payment would offset the cost of the special features plus some extra to help cover costs. In the companies case, I would expect the same thing, but they may be able to offer more than we could. Keep in mind that the more profitable the site is the more motivation they have to enhance it and keep it going.

what about the chat?

are they going to create a chat for us ? especially if we pay for it?
i feel that would be great and would stop alot of useless crap in the lounge

AND then the ppl with problems could get instant responces for their q...

You getting the same thing that was always gotten when paying for the subscription.

It is an Identity Subscription which allows the posting of an avatar. As well as the Arcade subscription which allows use of the Arcade. I'm still working out exactly how the new "auto forums" is going to be handling all the various subscriptions but there was a lot of concerns and questioning about lack of the ability to renew so that issue has now been resolved.

Contributor status is earned; not bought. You gain the contributor status when you exceed 1000 Karma Points.
