Thank You Scooby

Im not sure if anyone has done this yet but especially since the site is now under someone elses wing, I want to thank you scooby!

For all the time you took outta your life to help us, to create this for us, to pick mods to help us, to post helpful advice for us, to be there and keep the site clean, awesome and a second home for us...

BUT YOU

Have you been thanked for everything you did for us? And even giving up what you created for US? It would of been hard to do. I wanted to show my gratitude for EVERYTHING YOU HAVE DONE, and giving it up to make it better for the COMMUNITY.

Thank you Scooby...

Feen

The f3n0r<-- sig touched by scooby

Yeah I agree. Normally I think "Thank You" threads are cheesy but this is definately in order. I remember when I first joined this site shortly after it was a Yahoo Forum site (use way back machine to look at it) and it has changed so much since those days in early 2000. Sometimes I can't believe that I have been here that long since it seems like yesterday that I joined. I have thanked Sean myself more than a few times but this is another and publicly this time! This forum is still going strong after all these years, maybe not as strong but still strong none the less. I keep coming back here for the people that are on this forum, which is why people choose to stay. My MX6 has been parked for a while now and it isnt because I bought an awesome daily driver GSR, but because I have plans to bring it back to life and finally do what I always wanted to do with it but always had other things going on and no time to actually see it materialize. So, stay tuned and thanks again Sean!

You are very welcome. It was my pleasure supporting the site all these years. I should mention that some others deserve a lot of credit as well.
Optical - our Australian friend who created the first professional site way back in 2001
Optima - who got us transitioned to vBulletin and admin'd the site for a couple of years
and most of all:
Imagoon (Chris) who has been our server admin for about 4 years now (or longer?)

All the moderators over the years. We could never have made this site great without the help of volunteers like them.

Seans married with a wife and kids and a house and land in another state and a brand new car and everything else that comes along with the married life of a man his age (three years older than dirt). Last I knew he was selling his TC and I remember when he bought it, years after he got rid of his MX6. At this day and age, I don't think any sane person would want a 250,000 mile 1994 MX6.- figure of speech but you get what I mean.

No hard feelings on your post. But I did LOL outloud. Honest.

I'll sell you mine cheap...

Seriously though, I've been here since 2003 (I had another account here which was deleted, this one was created and used upon the purchase of my current MX6) and I've always kept coming back. There is something about this forum that makes it different then others. Maybe its the fact that the maturity seems higher and the presence of knowledge also seems higher, but regardless, its a place I'm sure we all call home and will continue, no matter if we own one of the cars or not.

Thanks Scoob for everything.

Yeah, no plans to buy another MX-6. I sold my tC a while back, moved to Utah and bought a Titan. Never been much of a pick-up person but I do like this truck. I live up in the mountains so I really needed a 4WD with some clearance.
I will probably buy a summer car this year. I almost bought a M3 last week but decided against it. I can pick up a G35 for a lot less and they have a lot of potential.

I am no longer the owner of MX6.com so it doesn't make any sense.

Where in UT? I'm flying in for the Bonneville International IT Manager Meetings in June. We should go get some 3.2% Brew's from the local quik-e-mart

Really?
