Actually the 1st mazda I remember seeing in the US when i was a kid was the "GLC" I even remember the slogan in the commercials...1st it sang " it's a great little car" & @ the end they sang... "it's a great lotta car" after touting all of it's features

Those ford based escorts are just horrible. Scaled down tempos.

This is just me but I would never ever own either of those cars. Both are death traps.

My friend Tj said someone gave him one for free and he's planing to turbo it

Unfortunately most of the mx3's are 4 cylinders, and almost ALL are 92-93. I would never own that 92-93 interior, it is hideous compared to the 94+

I wasn't big on the MX3 before I got one. It kind of fell into my lap and it was a 94 V6, so what the hell. The handling and feel of the car has really grown on me. The condition of it is fading (paint, glass, etc) but mechanically it is very sound.

It has given me way less problems than my 1g MX6 GT did. That mx6 ALWAYS had something breaking, not just engine and drivetrain. Stupid stuff like window switches, power steering, door handles, interior panels falling off. God I do not miss that car. I sold it 3 years ago and have NEVER had a regret.

The V6 is a hybrid of sorts. It shares the suspension of the escort (I replaced both my front hubs with escort ones), but the trans and engine are nearly the same as the mx6. The exception being the axles. And of course the K8... but that's easier than hell to swap.

i was so happy my mx3 was a 94 when i seen the 92-93 interior lol. I had the 4cyl tho, course the since i had the dohc b6-d, b6t parts made the turbo set up fairly easy.

Rebel dont make the mistake of swapping the LCA's or lateral links from any other car. The 3's are longer to give the car a wider track.

The rear geometry is also different than other B chassis cars and is designed to gain more toe in than the others for a pseudo rear steer effect.

I have been looking at mx3's for a fiew years ever since I wrecked the 6.

I havent been able to find one that I was willing to buy though. Rust seems to ba an issue for the 3's where most 6's around here are clean.

I wouldnt care about the engine or year because they all have advantages but I do like the late interior better.
