where is the thread with the mx-6 prototype pics?

I don't know if this is the right place to post a question like this...?

I've searched everywhere, but I can't seem to find the thread with the prototype pictures of design studies for the 2nd gen mx-6.

Can anyone help me?

I know exactly what thread you are looking for but I'm also having a hard time finding it. I can't remember what section it was in.

My car is going to be the bastard love child of a JDM, ESPEC, and USDM Mx6 threesome.

It's getting there.

I think the one he was talking about was more recent and it had artist's renderings in it. Someone who had a teacher who was a designer for Mazda if I remember correctly.

Good thread though.

2000, February: At the Geneva Motor Show a twin-turbo' four wheel drive concept car based on the Mazda 626. The engine (KL-ZE) is a 2.5 litre V6 with twin turbo-chargers and intercooler (206kW at 6500rpm, 392Nm at 4000rpm).

not the mx6 protos, but i still lament over the fact that the mps never saw the light of day.

its closest spiritual successor is the mazdaspeed 6.

Mazda would have been way ahead of the pac if they would have just acted on their instincts and made some of their prototypes come to fruition. They are doing well now, but think of where they would have been with this car under their wing. Come on, wake up Mazda.
