I'm not too sure who's gonna read this, but King6 made a good suggestion about a support section/emergency/help line/section. Although I personally seem to be the only one with this kind of issues, I think it'd be a good idea to have this kind of section up to give a helping hand to members in need at rough times. I would be among the ones using and offering this "service". Any thoughts on this, input would, ideas would be great. Whether it be as a chat or thread based with rapid closing and deletion.

I'm not sure the demand is such that a whole section would need to be devoted to it - but if there's enough interest, I'm certainly up for a stuck thread that gets pruned weekly.

Not so much for depressed people, but for people who are looking to talk to someone. And I don't think we'd get eaten alive for spilling our guts, since I've spoken a panoply of members that have all been open minded and helpful.
Maybe not a complete section, but a thread where contact info for certain members willing to help others would be interesting. as long as there is no abuse made upon it.
Something along the lines of a WILLING TO HELP member database for those who may need to talk. Including IM addresses, and possibly phone numbers if people are willing to post them up. I know I've needed help and I'm MORE than willing to hand it out to those who may need it.

wow i totally thought this was for car help... hence the sarcasm... sorry. I'm in, this is up my alley, i hope to do this for a living someday (3rd year psych specialist). but ya anytime ppl want to they can pm or messenger me ill be at least a compassionate ear. ive worked in hospital settings before so i have some exp. with the worst stuff
