I used the members button in the banner a lot. It provided an alphabetical list of all the members on the site.

Agree totally, I'm not visiting so much (even though I don't have a Mazda now I often visited in the past) and I'm afraid its going to get less so, maybe using Opera doesn't help, but the time it takes to load a page, the ads in the sidebar and a huge expanse of white underneath the eBay ad (on my machine anyway!) doesn't make me want to visit often.

So disappointed

second, I cant pay for premo membership as you guys must be passing my info to my paypal account and my card in paypal doesnt match the info on your site. Can you pm me an email address I can send paypal to so I can help support this site?

The rest of the mods/changes I dont really care about as long as I can get to the info I need when I need it...
Thanks

We removed the member list. You can send me a pack of smileys you would like added to nsyed@autoforums.com and they will be set up. Thanks!

I am disappointed you will leave the forum. The look has changed, not the people on the site. Also, there is a new secondary skin available if you haven't seen it. You can select it by going to the bottom left hand corner of the screen and choosing the second one in the dropdown menu. We have worked very hard to try and make this work for everyone, and we all hope you stay!

Is there any reason it was removed? I used it a lot if I want to PM someone specifically without having to search for their username. I would rather have the member list than smileys.

The sponsorships will not change until renewal time. Any information you require can be obtained by emailing rjones@autoforums.com. Richard handles the vendors/sponsors of the site. The members list was removed due to the chance of a security risk being brought to our attention. We removed it to protect you from the possible hacking. I agreed that it would be better to be safe than sorry.

Could you expand on the details of the security risk? I am unaware of any known security issues with the members list in the previous Vbull releases.

Just wondering if it's an exploit, a bug that jelsoft expects to patch, or etc.

It allows possible hackers/spammers to collect usernames and "brute force" accounts (try a million and one passwords) to assist them in posting spam, scraping member information, and hacking the site. If you have any further questions Goatcrapp, I suggest you email me directly. Thanks!
