google search bar?

why has this appeared? our search function works well enough imo. If people find it lacking I'm fine with a google search buried in the advanced search options. However an obnoxious white bar that clashes with our tasteful layout at the top of every page is just an eyesore.

I never even noticed it there, until I read this thread. I even used the one located under the search button and still didnt notice the one on the main page.

Its there because it generates ads, and thats how autoforums makes their money.

I dont mind it.
