You can try one of the junk yards in the south side. might be a few mx6/626 atx transmissions lying around.

just got my car 2 weeks ago and less than 24 hours of me having i put about 30 miles on it and the transmission locked up on me... so i am getting a new one, and it just came in today, waiting for it to be put all back together.... but i am new here but have been looking at this site for a few weeks now... and i like how yall help each other out... so i dont know where this goes... but i am sure that this is in the wrong place.... i want to modify the car.... but i dont know where to start.... i dont know whats stock on it and whats aftermarket... but i do know that its nice and sharp and has been taken care of with the apperance... but the mechanical has been ran hard.... and raced many many times..... any advice is much appreciated

If you really want to make your car faster go and find a GT. I've had a dx for the longist time and I always wanted to turbo it or something. It cost so much that I just went and bought a GT. If you want quick mods for your car the first thing is intake/exhaust. (bigger muffler,pipe and a good flowing filter k&n or even some cheap-o ebay filters are still good.
