Not promising anything, but maybe

I know that I haven't been on here long, but would like to go to one of these meets so I can get to know you all. Doesn't matter the place or time, I would just need to know so I could take a couple of days vacation. I used to live in the Houston area, but haven't been there in a while, so would need some directions to get to places. When I lived in La Porte, it would take me about 9 1/2 hours to get to where I am now. San Antonio is deffinately closer to me, but I don't care either way. I kind of like the awards idea. I'm a shoe-in for crapiest car. Lol, since I just bought mine, and haven't had time to do much to it. Anyway, just let me know.

The awards don't have to be big and to put your car into it doesn't have to be expensive ether. $10? I'll add my car even though I don't think I'll win anything.

Prizes will be based on how many people get in the competition. Then we have to have someone hold the money and judge. Judging can also be done by votes. You don't have to know the persons name we can have some liquid chalk numbers written on the window. Then we have all the awards written on a paper so we can just write the numbers on it. The one with the Most votes wins.

More examples:
Riceyest car

How do we keep people from voting more than once.

Can a person vote for one car in all the awards?

I say one person can vote for one car in no more than Two awards.

But if we do that it may be possible for one car to win two awards.

We need a booth LOL

no more input from anyone?
If I lived in houston I would try to plan it out more on where to go and what to do. I don't really want this to be a one night thing.
Now It seems like we have the date narrowed down to a weekend. What time and day are we going to meet up?
Are we going to meet at the track or some other place before that? What about after the track?

How much more planning do you want when this has just been thrown together in the last few days. The track here opens at 5pm last time I checked. I would suggest you guys get here early and get settled in at a hotel. From there we will have a time and place to meet at. We will then cruise to the track and have some fun. From there we can go grab a bite to eat but it will be better to judge on the day that we are there instead of right now. I had already suggested a bbq and photoshoot on Saturday. Did you not see this? I am really open to anything but I am thinking a Friday track night followed by a bbq/get together/photoshoot would be best.

Hey guys I just looked at the calender and july 4 is on Friday so It would be a great three day weekend if anyone is up to it.
But like I said from the beginning I don't expect everyone to change their plans just so that I can go.

I will do my best to be there. My car should definately be ready by then, and it's plenty far out to get the time off. I'll talk to my wife and see what she says.
