Hi Guys,

I would loved to have come along this year but as Simon says " The Price of Gas " ........Ackkkkkk!!!

Also next weekend I am going to the Masters Series at Brands Hatch which my pal John Smith is clerking.

There will be some awesome historic race cars there including old Formula One cars. Also on the Sunday and Monday, all the races will be held on the full Grand Prix circuit .........

The sight and sound of proper F1 cars heading off into the country at Brands still sends shivers down my spine and goose pimples on my skin ........

See: The Masters Racing Series

The Masters Racing Series - Event Information

This country is so darn expensive now and as I have limited income these days, I prefer to gas my tank in the USA when I am over there in the summer.

Mind you air fares have come down ( due to lower demand ) from last year and both BA and Virgin are very reasonable to Chicago.

Have a great Japfest everyone.

Hope the weather is OK.

Paula

PS. BaBaKa is all polished up and gleaming like new so I can paddock pose her next door to the Kentagon Bar/Restaurant at Brands .......

PPS. Maybe some UK mx6.com members might like to come along too.

Sorry to hear of your troubles buddy .. have to admit we do normally have at least one casualty on the road to Japfest, be it a breakdown or puncture, .. seems some sort of curse ..

Hi guys.. got back earlier, and had some well deserved kip.. zzzzzzzzzz !

Nice to meet everyone again. and glad the weather held off..
Sorry to hear the bad luck some had in trying to make it, but there's always another day..

Didn't take many pics.. (as usual) but here they are.

Glenda turned up, so I introduced him to Kyle........
Got him to take a pic of Kyle, and put it in the "paper"
Kyle heard this and legged it, asking what paper?
I said, "well, more of a magazine called Fast Car"

I've never seen Kyle run as quick...

Got back about 9 last night, had a good run and managed to miss a very bad accident on the M5 by a matter of seconds (and no I didn't cause it )
Great to meet up with everyone again and put a face to a few names, seemed to miss a couple of you but glad you made it.

I think a big cheer should go out to Mark (Elmer) for his MAMMOUTH journey from Scotland to meet up with us.

Mark

... jezus h fella ! .. was that on the way home or sometime later ? did you run short of oil ? or did it just go ? certainly no sign or sounds of them being a problem yesterday, ticked over quite nicely too.
