Hi Guys,
Watching the Italian GP and thank the Lord that we still have proper Race Cicuits like Monza, Spa etc....Awesome ....
Silverstone was better pre 1973 before Woodcote was emasculated.

And what about this on their Traffic Management:
Hollow joke eh?
Spectator traffic management
Historically Silverstone has suffered traffic jams on race days. This problem has been largely eliminated with the completion of the A43 Silverstone bypass, a dual-carriageway road just to the north of the circuit. When the race was moved to an April date in 2000, rainy conditions turned the fields used for car parking into mud baths, causing chaos for spectators trying to park On F1 race day a large number of spectators travel to the circuit by helicopter: enough to make Silverstone Heliport the busiest airport in the UK for this day.
The Events Planning Officer and I had a laugh about this the other day ....

Just had a call from the Events Planning Officer at Northampton Police Station.
He is taking this right to the top with Silverstone Circuit ( He agreed with me that they are ultimately responsible and with all the millions that they have spent on the A43 road improvements for the F1 GP, this was outrageous on Sunday ).
He will also be talking to Trax, the Highways Agency and his superiors in the Police.
Let's hope that next year the problem is solved and again he agreed with me that the gates should have been open much earlier so that people could drive in with ease as they arrived.
