Scream Bought my first MX6

Hello all..... First time on the site seems relay helpfull. Just bought my first 1992/1993 mx6 V6.Can`t beleave I got this much car for £1300 One lady owner 44500m fsh 1yr mot and all past mots and bought from main Suz dealer.There head mech drove and checked the MX6 and could not find anything major wrong with it.I found a couple of things needing done 1.drivers side e/window switch seems to have droped.... 2.When you drive the car there seems to be wind noise comming from the passenger side window or the sunroof can`t make my mind up were as I cant fell anything.As I am new to the mx6 world and you have probley heard this a million times before any good garages in the London/Essex area.Been into elite Rainham and priced a Remus b/box £300 anybody got one and are they any good......

1. u can either fix the switch

or a get a new one!! (might have one for u as i am breaking a car this sunday)

2. the weather seal could need replacing

and for the exhaust system ! most of us have scorpion ! and we love thme

they cost around that price! for a whole system tho not just a b/box!!

ur welcome next sunday for the car break! u could meet some members and stuff...

Hi Boab, and welcome to the club...

Yeah, as Rush says, it's easier to replace the switch.. the wind noise is a common problem on all pillarless coupe's, not just the MX-6...
and £300 for a back box is daylight robbery.. even if it is a remus.. a scopion or similar is less than half that..

Also, although you say where you are, could you populate your profile, so the info doesn't get lost with this thread.

Thanks lads for getting back to me,sorry it took so long to get back to u work u know the score.Can u help me find one of those nice sounding scorpine exh supply and fit in the London or Rainham Essex area. thanks mate for inviting me to the break but work calls again all I ever do at the moment.....but if u have an el/window switch and weather strip for sale give me a shout.Have to go West Ham playing Bolton All the best boys talk to u all later.....COME ON WEST HAM....

I used to have wind noise in my car, it's the curry!!!!!

But seriously we just had a quick bend of the glass (when fully up) and that was the end of it, until the next curry but hey, it's a small price to pay
