Angry abs

hi all i poped a fuse [hazards]wile probeing some wires now my abs light wont go out have jumped the diagnostics to clear the codes but the next time i start me shelars up its back any one help me ?

When you say you have cleared the codes do you mean you have disconnected the battery and earthed the cpu by keeping the brake pedal down for 30 secs?

Otherwise, check the fuse again. Sometimes they blow straight away if there is a short.

no tryed the batt was no good cleared it from the diagnostics with a split pin but once you turn it of and on again it comes back gonna check me earth straps and alty tomorrow but cant see it bin them and all the fuses are sweet anything else you can think of fella coz an runnin out of ideas ? tar

you have checked the fluid level yer, and that all the abs wheel sensors are ok i had one split and light came on all the time it had broken right were it goes threw the wing so was hard to spot with all the crud on it,,

you may have shorted out a sensor if you have a multi meter you can cheack the oms at the plugs

Clearing ABS codes is not the same as clearing engine codes.

Short TAB & GND, Ignition on, then press brake pedal 10 times within ten seconds.

That should clear the ABS codes, providing there is no fault.

yer have checked the fluid level , and sensors cant see no probs but got codes 12 14 53 n/s frount speed sensor , n/s rear speed sensor , and motor or motor relay so gonna start there i think cheapest thing first thats my motto lol got some guy fittin remote central lockin he seems to think he can sort it but did notice some stringy stuf wraped around them to huds looked like exhaust baffels maybe its broken a wire on a sensor its worth a try thank all ow yer where is the abs relay under passinger seat ?

i had speed sensor go in my auto ,speedo stopped working after awhile and my hold light kept flashing after a couple of miles driving which also made the car idle all over the place ,
Good luck with checking it out today,

when i went in to the diagnostics the horn went of constantly any one know why this is never known this on any car ? big joe

You probably just jumped the wrong terminal.... one of them is to test the horn. (TAB)

What sort of diagnostic tool...?

you don't need one to pull the codes anyway...

used a proper one from a garage but for now have just bridged the wires in diagnostics to get the anoying light off will do for now till i get me some pennys to sort it out proper tar for all your help chaps big joe
