18 months I've had the car and I don't appear to have been spotted

Standard maroon M plate I believe coming through Malin Bridge down to Hillsboorugh three nights ago at about 7pm

Last month saw a custom sprayed light blue flake paint and dark tints dropped all the way down on 18 multispokes...gorgeous! with a huge lamp post shaped dent on the front end in Prague

Two in one day! First a black six heading towards Largs, as I was heading to Glasgow and then a red one in Glasgow itself, all this on Saturday Morning/Afternoon. I was disguised in the Rover!

Gave him the leaflet, and he said, "I know, I'm a member, and I recognise your car, so I know who you are!" !!!

Forgot his username, but i'm sure he'll make himself known soon! Nice P or R-reg with pristine black leather seats...could even be a J-spec on reflection...square front plate....
I surely owe you an apology Simon... cant belive it was back in March! that you flyered me in the Total garage. I was in a bit of a rush so couldnt hang around and chat but told my self i'd login and say hi that night.... well here I am saying hi mate... 'bout 2 months later (hangs head in shame ) I was infact in my (sadly) not so clean N reg UK spec with the not too shabby black leather (jap style square plate came about after numerous idiots reversed into my bumper and wrecked the old UK plastic mount - seems noone can see me in their mirrors since the eibachs went on ) Anyway was nice to meet, albeit briefly, no doubt we will again. Searching through the spotting posts for you it seems you've been on a local mission hunting 6's - good work!

Anyway what brings me back to the fold today I hear you cry! typically it's a problem - rather loud tapping around the cam belt area appeared on the weekend - nothing like the occational HLA noise i've had in the past?? have flushed and put some new mobil 1 in today but suspect it might be a the tensioner or friction spring? guess i'll run the new oil for day or two and see what happens. Anyway i'll continue this on another thread when I have more of an idea whats wrong.

Glad I still recognise plenty of the names here still - hi to everone! I've got a few days worth of threads to catch up on....

Hiya, Chris! Only got notification of yr post today...

Great to finally see you around here. I see the lady in the red M-reg 6 in Stafford Road almost every morning. "the lady in reeeeed....2, yeah, I know...

The Mazda guy in Streatham I've posted about offered to do my friction springs for a very good price as he's got a set spare and would do the job parts-free. give him a ring and mention me!

I know it's a late one but worth a mention...

A couple of weeks ago spotted a red 6 turning right from Great West Road SW into Syon Lane, London.

The unusual thing about this was that it had a full-width, Scooby-style intake lip at the top of the bonnet, below the wipers! You know our bonnet, the solid plate of metal with no vents to intake to or from!

Apart from my graphics, could this be a candidate for the most useless add-on on a 6?!

Thats all right, thats ok, nobody likes you anyway!

(Joke)

Funny that don't think I've ever been spotted either and had the car about 2 years now.... they're are quite a few 6's around the East Sussex area too.

Spotted six MX-6s in a village near Goodwood on Friday - ripped the dashboard out of one.. oh yeah, it was Pompeydel's fleet!

Thanks for all your help & kindness - we'll be seeing you soon.

------------------------------------------------------------

Now a 'real' spotting, a black M-reg J-spec with no nose badge in Soho, London this afternoon in the rain. Told the Chinese owner about mx6.com, he really loves the car, and said he'd have a look!

Locally we have a grand total of four. None of whom seem to be on the forum!!!

Weaverham on Wallescot Road a red MX6 continually parked up - never seen it move
In Northwich 2 * silvers driving around one with a private plate MAZ **** and one in black seen driving around on the odd occasion.

I keep waving but get no response back, might not be so subtle next time!
