Saw a silver N reg, pulled up a long side it but there were 2 scary blokes inside! So chickened out on the old beep wave yet again. It's just not happening! haha
Drove up from Bournemouth via M4, M5, M6, Chester to Bangor, then Bangor to Preston on Thursday. All in all, 12 hours driving including a 2 hour stop at my daughter's place in Bangor. All thanks to the M5 being closed.
Drove back from Preston to Bournemouth in 5 hours on Friday afternoon.
Not another MX6 in sight the whole journey...
The good news is that the fuel consumption was great. Filled up after 260 miles and had only used 38 litres. The bad news is that it used a 1/2 pint of oil on the way up.

Shortly after a very nice guy in an RX8 invited me to play catch up, he was dead nice he didnt want a race just a blast to see how the cars compared ( he used to have a 6), first time thats happened to me. Anyways assuming he was pushing it I wasnt impressed I easily kept up in fact a couple times i felt i was out accelerating him, in the end he flashed the brake lights, pulled over and said he was giving up, we complimented eachother and I went on my merry way, what a nice chap. I didnt ask, but I assume it was the 190. It was a very twisty road tho, I was raised in the country and knowledge of that road made it easy for me to drive hard. Maybe he wasnt trying too hard.
Leaving the ruins of inner city Hythe this afternoon on a top secret mission to seek urgent supplies (AKA a trip to the B&Q Warehouse) I followed a silver K reg 6 with sports exhaust all the way up the A326!!
I didn't go too fast because I thought the NFPD might be watching.
Any takers - BTW I don't think this is the silver 6 I have spotted before as I am pretty certain that is an M reg.
regards,
Ian Chequer
