Hi Rasheed,

Great seeing you earlier.

Thanks for posting my piccies...:-)

Hey you did not give me accreditation....;-)

Seriously though it was a good day and I am very pleased with the quality of my 6 year old Sony Mavica FD 88 digital camera which is in effect a Sony Digicam that takes stills.

My friend Claire bought it in the USA new for $800 and gave it to me on my last trip.

It uses Floppy Discs which is useful with my PC.

Anyway I have already rubbed down the odd bit of rust on the rear silencer and will paint it with VHT paint after I have put some Kurust on it.

Take care.

Paula

Santa drives a 6!

sweeeeeet.

It's a well-known survival tip that you should always carry around a length of ethernet or fibre cable when traveling in wilderness areas. If you get hopelessly lost, bury it. Then you can ask the backhoe operator for directions when he cuts through it.

Hi noonespecial

Well considering the Mavica was a gift and the write ups were very good, I have a great camera as you say.

My other professional camera is a Nikon F90X which is awesome and is 35mm.

See these Sony Mavica reviews:

http://www.duxcw.com/digest/Reviews/.../fd88/fd88.htm

http://www.kenrockwell.com/tech/fd88.htm

Because more modern digitals are available, I looked on Ebay and you can buy one for £10.
