That may well be, but if you look at the large dip at 3,250 - 4,000rpm - that definitely shouldn't be there and would indicate to me that #1 is opening too late and allowing the power to drop too much first.

If you use MSI switches you can fine tune the opening and closing points to wherever you need them to smooth the curve out. For that particualr point I would drop the #1 VRIS opening back to 3250 instead of 3500.
(See the bottom of this page: http://home.btconnect.com/ken.holland/probemx/p_m14.htm)

Good luck.

Interestingly.. 3250 is VRIS 1 opening on an A-Spec DE IM.

oh yes i see what you mean now!! interesting???.......i presume the vris can be set up on a megasquirt fastest95pgt ??.
ummmm.........very interesting.
what do you guys think......exhaust before megasquirt or megasquirt before exhaust
i would have thought exhaust first, but the bhp line doesnt show any signs of be restricted at high rpms as it should tail off towards the end if restricted shouldnt it ??
cheers

Absolutely exhaust first gets my vote!

And yes, Megasquirt can be made capable of giving you full control of your VRIS points.

Yep, exhaust first.

You may then see that dip disappear if it brings the power back up...
