Finally... new rear end

After 2 and a bit years of ownership.
And a significant portion of that searching... I finally got the 3rd brake light and de-badged

looking very slick...... can you make it go side to side knightrider style?.........only jok, its always the small touches thats stand out.

2.5 Ze straight neck, blitz intake, mazdaspeed engine mounts, fidenza flywheel, CM II Clutch, KL-36 ecu, Magnecor 8mm Leads, Battery Relocation. Speed hut dials, bilstein suspension set up. Powerspeed 2.5" stainless mandrel bent exhaust, hotshot headers, hi-flow cat. Custom 4 pot big brake conversion. Dynod 188.8whp 183.3ft-lb 99Ron Super Unleaded

I need the lock there to get in

I haven't got round to fitting the solenoid to do that yet, also the chrome struts failed on me, so I'm back to std struts.

Pressing the button on the remote then lifting the boot just isn't the same as it opening itself

I got the Golf struts sat in my mums garage if you want em, can bring with me to Japfest. If you think the Chrome one's were tough you are gonna love these

golf struts? can you tell me what year and model would work on the 6?

also...rear looks great. i think my spoiler brake light is smaller tho damnit....

Not ashamed at all.. I stil have the mazda badge on the bonnet (for now).. but the debadged rear just looks so clean.
The old badges were starting to look a little weather worn too.


Next...j-spec rear lights... anyone???
