What ya think? Installed new lighter door trims. Was surprised the original ones weighed 2.7 Kgs each...

They weigh 250g.. A good weight saving. Got a sheet from a motorsport store and cut them myself... They are a plastic carbon effect sheet..

Only have two small pieces, one for each footwell for use when its a wet day. Keeps the pedals from getting to slippery... The backing is removed so they are very light...
Still removing extra weight where I can find it.. Removed the ABS system, door trims & sound deadning two weeks ago.. Just weighed the folding door mirrors and they weigh 1.5 Kgs each.. so they are going in the bin..

Thanks.. Its a small mod to save a few Kilos, but it all adds up. I'm putting on new door mirrors tomorrow to save another couple of kilos... Those electric folding mirrors are way to heavy..
