Monster discs/Rotors arrived today..

Disks/Rotors arrived today.. Wow, huge...

They look like they could stop a locomotive... Very heavy though...

Holy mutha where did you get those and how much and how do you mount them the callipers dont look like theyll fit

Always found the stock brakes are a little weak really need to beef mine up and ebc pads dont do enough

They are off a Mitsubishi Evo, cost approx £300 for the discs. I am having brackets machined up to mount them.. THe calipers are enormous as well.. Don't think I'll have any more braking issues...

Are you worried the stock hubs will cope and is there enough pressure in the stock braking system

Will machined brackets be strong enough surely cast/forged ones would be best as Id always be worried about them shearing and seeing as you seem to like racing yours theyll get a lot more abuse than most

I happy that the stock hubs will do, they are heavy cast units. Brake calipers are off an Evo and I have calculated that they are compatible... The caliper mounting lugs are alloy so I think machined steel brackets will be in excess of whats required...

Installed the brakes today and am very happy how they look.. I'm looking forward to see how well they work on track next Monday...
