My Bargain Alloys

Hi all, my mot is coming up so i thought i would try and get some used alloys with good tyres instead of buying two new tyres for my std wheels ( many thanks to Parallex for the offer of his std alloys), i found these on e-bay and the listing said they used to be on an mx-6 so i sent a message asking how much for cash?, the reply was £50 and all the tyres have only done 1000 miles, So i snapped his hand off, they are quite badly kerbed but for £50 what do you expect, i was going to try and keep my 6 standard as i work on it but over the last 4 months of owning it i am becoming obsessed with the car and this site. to get an idea of my obsession i spent 3 1/2 hours surfing the site on friday (my name is Simon.....i am an mx-6 addict). i am hoping i can get my 6 up to the standard of most of the ones i have seen on this site as i saw a picture from 2007 japfest of a convoy of 6's and i had a smile from ear to ear and a funny tingle in my pants so would like to be part of the convoy next year, please let me know if you think the wheels suit the car,

keep up the good work guys and gals, Simon

Very impressive alloys - and it sounds like you got a GREAT deal for £50, don't see too much kerbing, I assume that they are "straight"? i.e. not warped.

What size are they?

P.S - May be an idea to photoshop your reg number out of the photos, just for safety's sake.

some very nice wheels there dude, and as storm says, you may want to photoshop your reg out of the photo's, as well as any neighbours reg plates that you may have caught (specifically in the second pic).

don't let it become an obsession or you'll end up trying to buy every 6 in the country..........
