The pinking issue is something I'm aware of, but even after the research I did before buying the car, I haven't seen much on a coil problem. Possible I've been looking in the wrong places. Do you have any sources on this one I can look at?

I will be keeping the wheels white... until I can afford new ones. I'm not a huge fan of them, but they do look better than std wheels.

As promised, here's a few more pics after she had a quick wash.
Again, nothing fancy but you certainly see more of the shape of the car.

She really is a joy to drive and a head turner.
I've found a set of wheels I'd like, but it'll cost about £1200 for them with tyres. Money I just don't have at the moment.

Also want to sort out the stereo so I can listen to my music. I got used to the iPod connector I had in the 6

Anyway.. enjoy!!

Russ please stop with the pictures mate!! I keep eyeing up my credit card for a large purchase.

Really like the look of the car love the shape of the lights, front and rear. Thats got to be the only triangular high level break light on a prodution car? very different. Overall shape is very sexy.

What can I say other than I want one.

Yeah, she's an import. brought in to the country in September.
Insurance... well.. more than the 6 was
I'm not sure what group she is, but I'm paying £850 fully comp.
I was paying £500 for the 6.

I've just taken the new owner of my 6 out in her and he liked it a lot.
He was more than happy with the 6 though. Watching her drive away wasn't nice .

I know she's gone to a good home though and he should be registering on here in the near future.

Hi Russ

I like it, I like it a lot!! I'm extremely green eyed, as I'm now resigned to sensible motoring with a diesel Mondeo The Skyline had to go, in the short time I had it I bought new clutch, new engine and lots of other bits in between.

Who is your insurance with? The cheapest for the Skyline was Adrian Flux where I was paying £470 with protected no claims and all mods declared.

Matt

Matt

Quietly modding!

What's that coming over the hill? Is it a Mazda? Is it a Mazda

Sorry you had to get rid of the Skyline pal.
One of the problems of buying cars of these ages.

Hopefully I've bought myself a new enough car to only have minor repairs for a year or two. The 6 was starting to cost a lot on bits. I'm sure now I've sorted most of them, the new owner won't have much to do for a while.

My insurance is with Sky Insurance. They were £100 cheaper than anyone else that quoted. The last time I went to Adrian Flux, it would have been cheaper to buy a new car if anything happened. For me and any other party involved. So I didn't ask them this time.
