Sorry guys

Well... I know I've kept this very quite but I've decided it's time for me to move on. I've had the 6 almost 5 years now and she's served me well.

I still love the car, but recent events in my life have made me think I need to see some movement... so the car has been changed.

The rearety of the 6 is something I love, so the new car had to follow in it's footsteps.

So, here it is.....

A 1999 Nissan Silvia Spec-R.
She's pretty much stock other than the wheels and a GReddy boost controller.
I picked her up yesterday from Swansea, and enjoyed every moment of the 5 hour drive back.

So, as the title says... sorry guys.

Cheers Paul,

I don't know about mods yet. There's plenty of little things that need sorting first.
She'll sure keep me busy.

More pictures to come once she's had a wash and I get some time.
I'll see if I can get the pics from the advert until then. She looked quite shiney in those.

Well if this keeps up the rarity of the 6 will increase for those of us who still have them - only jealous Russ

How long before you get a ticket in that beast though!

I'm hoping to avoid the ticket, but I'll admit the urge to put your foot down is very strong.
Half the time I don't realise the speed I'm doing. Really going to have to watch it.
Here's a couple of pics from the advert

The 6 is still a great car and it'll be a shame to see her go when she does. But I think the S15 will keep me happy.
Very similar bosy style. One of the very few 'modern' cars I actually like.

Hi Russ,

Nice wheels..........

See the whole history of the car.

Will you be going drifting in her?

Cheers guys. She really is a nice drive. Was out again today to watch a mate race at an autograss meet in York.
Unfortunately, I've discovered the speedo has a problem and isn't particularly accurate. It may have something to do with the conversion to mph or de-limiting. I'm going to have to investigate. A bit of a pain on the journey today as the route was covered in speed cameras.

Paula, there won't be any drifting... not intentionally anyway
I drive quite a few miles and she's going to need looking after as it is to cope.

Curious. Are you keeping the wheels white? Someone said this was the fashion now.

Top tip for you mate - Check the electrical system coils on this bad boy - Apparent design fault. Also, keep an eye on the ever present threat of pinking.

Now that is a very nice looking motor Russ. Pretty rapid aswell. I've only every seen 1 before and funnily enough that was in Swansea, not the same one though as it was white. Wouldn't mind one of those myself.
