ITB KL Engines

Heres a few links found on good old U tube for Inlet throttle bodies on KL engines. Still 2 ways whether to do this mod or supercharge the engine.

Not too keen on turbo for fact that it seems to be the norm in bhp gain from kl engines. Nice to do something a bit one off ish.

on the supercharging side, the us mitsubishi eclipse supercharger seems very heavy duty and possibly more space friendly than the probe kit.

Garfy - do some research on the Rotrex supercharger (Uk distributor is in Silverstone), have a look around for MAX a probe that used to belong to a guy called Eugene. This is a centrifugal type S/C that is the size of an alternator, and works very well.

This is the route I am going to go, when I get moving on the rebuild of my second KLZE.

I've gone for ITB's on my KL for a number of reasons - very cheap to do (two sets of Triumph TB's were £65 off ebay!) , very light - just 6 bodies and two ally adapter plates versus that humungus inlet plenum , and the throttle response is incredible .
Oh - and it looks neat too
