97 MX6 for sale uk car 68,000 miles

I have previously advertised this car on here a few months back. She is now back up for sale at a more realistic price.

1 prev owner.
I have owned it for 3 years - from 9,500 miles
Just had 90,000 mile service including new front disks and pads all round (£500)
MOT until July 2005
Tax til the end of the month.
Met Silver
Aircon / Leather interior
6cd alpine stereo
Totally standard

Scuffs on rear bumper / aerial does not fully retract / although works and goes up and down ok.

I was intending to hang onto her to run back and forth to work due to the low price these great cars seem to fetch at the mo. But I have too many cars and no where to put them.

I have a 90 mile round trip to work each day so the miles have been mainly dual carriageway.

Elmer, I spent all summer delivering cars for people all over the UK. If you want to buy one then I can arrange for it to be delivered to you (mate has car n trailer). All you'd have to do is sort out the fuel and pay him a bit for his time. We are in the midlands (leicester) so if you find a car you like thats local to us you could keep us in mind. Went and had a look at a K plate red mx6 on Thursday with 105k and FSH for £1995 so there are a few near us. Just check Autotrader.co.uk or Ebay.

She went on Friday to an enthusiatic new owner who had just had their MX6 written off.

I was glad to see her go to a good home.

Thanks stuzzer. I'll keep that in mind. I've wanted an MX6 for 12 years, subscribed to the magazine and everything but have had to wait til they came down in price before I could buy....... now's the time.

Been looking on auto trader and have been to see 3 so far. 1 in carlisle looked great! but the 2 guys selling it were up to something. It was the 1st time I've ever been to a private sale where I was dealing with a middle man!!!! The owner's father was the middle man. He just did NOT want me to talk to his son. :flipa:

Think the car had been in an accident on the nearside front, broken fog lamp, pulling to the left, juddering on the brakes, fist sized dent in sill, dent in floorpan, fairly new paint job etc. Anyway, it was exactly what I wanted but it just didn't feel right. And if it don't feel right you walk. I've read all the forums in here and have followed all the tips and what to look out for.
