ok..... here we go......

no service history as its been maintained by the sellers brother who is a mechanic.

cannot say if its had cambelt

new pads every three months, no idea on the calipers.. need to speak to brother.

had had new batt

new clutch

air con just re-gassed

interior in good condition,

exterior, couple of scratches, but will get them all buffed out before its sold.

is selling due to kids and now had a 4 door (note to self NEVER have kids)

its close enough for me to go and view...

so its off again for another 'noone' trip wiv me camera..

will report back to the team then!

(it doens't have a sun roof or leather, but it DOES go much faster)

ok.. went to see this ... i've pics if anyone wants to see them. body work i'd decribe as 'un-loved' or 'in need of tlc' it had a quite a few scraches where it had been keyed. both locks had been attacked at some point so they looked a bit rough. front no. cracked and front looked very messy with scraches and stone chips etc. The airial was just a normal one and fitted loose in the hole! (said it was £700 to replace!) generrally i would rate it poor.

Which leads me on to the mechanicals, steering was very heavy, much more so than others i've driven, possible clunk when going from lock to lock, suspension seemed to have no travel, every bump was felt through the car, a really hard ride (is this cos is a jpec?)break light on all the time as "i didn't want to pay the extra for pads with sensors", no services history at all (always done by brother in law) new batt, new clutch, some new hoses.. but no receipts at all??

Oh and she has had it since May this year... not that long?

I didn' bother any more.. I'm not after a 'do-er-upper' more a 'keep-er-upper'
