Breaking UK Spec 96 N-Reg

As in title.....

Have nearly all parts still available, apart from front and rear bumper and offside panels as these have already been sold.

If your interested in any parts and want more details just drop me a PM and i can send pics etc. With regards to pricing not sure what everything is worth, so all hagglers welcome lol.... But i'll always aim to be cheaper than an MX6 breakers.

Ok, I talked to Scott today and here's the deal.

The car is a UK spec with 150K on the clock. All engine parts available (ECU/Vaf Ken??)
I'm unsure of the colour as he says its a metallic blue but says green on the v5 (rare colour, can remember the name)
The drivers side plus front of the car took a big hit through a hedge after a blow out.
Therefore the bonnet/bumpers f & r/headlamps/drivers side panels are all shot.
The passenger side is ok with no damage.
The interior is already sold (to me) and i will be collecting in the next week or 2
Brakes are all ok (no siezed calipers)
4 alloys are good (later spec spoked alloys not piedish) 1 had the blowout.
All the dash/switches/dials etc are available.
No air-con or climate
Electric aerial is ok.
Boot lid/rear lights/spoiler etc are ok
Engine is ok, but has 150k so may need to be checked for wear.
Wont know the condition of other parts til I get there

Heres what I suggest. Scott is a bit of a virgin when it comes to breaking 6's so I said I'd pop up to his place (Bridlington, Yorkshire)a week on sunday to help start stripping it. I think the best thing to do woud be for everyone to come up with a list of parts needed and I'll make sure they are inspected and removed while i'm there. If theres anyone who attends (or intends to) the midlands or yorks meets I can bring the parts with me. When I helped Neil1001 break his import some people sent me the money and I collected and posted parts or brought them with me to Japfest. If you're not in a hurry i'll be at trax or can post the stuff on after its removed.

He's an honest guy, doesnt seem to want silly money for parts like breakers do and I think he just wants to try and recoup some of the £ he's lost when crashing it (was only tpft). I think he'll be open to sensible offers for parts so make a list and offer some £. If you need more info you can pm Scott or me and i'll try and help as best I can.

Remeber, i'm going up there june 18/19th to strip/collect parts so get in touch before then. Some of you who have my number can ring me or pm me for it.

They're dead Justin:
"The drivers side plus front of the car took a big hit through a hedge after a blow out.

I'm about all tapped out, so won't get the ecu - I'm hoping that Roy's loan will diagnose the fault and get me through MoT if needed. Then I can look around for another '95/96 ecu.

Cheers,
Ken

Oh, and the colour will be Noble Green Mica (again)

Ken

Cheers Stu.

I may well need the ECU if Roy's doesn't do the trick.

Ok, Scott has a bereavement in the family so may not be on for a few days. I have been txting him with offers for parts and here's the list.

Parts requested so far are

Noone : Rear brake calipers
Doorslammer: Alloys + rear bumper bar
Hot Cheese : Boot lid and spoiler, maybe mirror
Heckler : Dash surround
Stuzzer : interior
????? : rear lights (not sure who)
Wacky : Handbrake cables

So theres still a cheap engine up for grabs here ready to be modified!! All the ancillaries are there too (alternator/battery/radiator). Sunroof, all the dash and door switches, passenger door, suspension, front brakes, anti-roll bars, all there to be had. He wants fair offers so if you want anything pm me, not scott.

Stu, if the battery is good and you can grab it for a pittance... then please do. At the moment I'm using a smaller than recommended battery... but it is a new one... and it doesn't quite fit right.

Russ, Hotcheese is after the rear spoiler but may want the lid too (his car is Noble green). If he only wants the rear spoiler then i'd say about £25 for that, £25 for the lid (or £30 with the struts of they are any good). Hows that sound?
