This may be helpfull to anyone outside the UK, looking to see what kind of postal costs they may be looking at from the UK. This is the UK's national postal service (Royal Mail), and not an independant courier, of which the 'seller' may well request you use.
This link will open a window to the UK's national 'Parcel Post' website (ParcelForce) and will require the weight, destination and standard of delivery. http://www.pfwwsg.royalmail.com/serv...ageId=frameset Select 'NO' for account holder, and then click on the 'OVERSEAS' box. These prices will not include any possible 'EXTRA' charges for insurance / export duties. |

Strange, when I click on that link peergaurdian gives blocks access from this place 147.29.149.228 which is supposedly CSC in Denmark. Have to disable PG to even load it.
Anyway, a rough estimate for sending lights to the US based on the economy postage and a rough guess of tyhe weight of e-spec lights at 5kg. £42, or around $65 USD. But that can take upto 30 days for delivery. Standard rates with a 5-8 day delivery is £67 or around $115 USD. As you can see, those wanting to buy E-spec lights area gonna pay a lot for them. Especially as the average price for the lights themselves is going to be around the $300 USD mark. So if you're thinking of buy e-spec lights, don't expect much change out of $400 USD Last edited by Heckler : 11-12-05 at 9:58. |
