I'm listing my car on ebay for spares / repair. She needs a new head gasket and I just can't justify the cost of the repair for the little use she gets now with the company car and all.....

I remember having a problem like that, (the fans were always on) it turned out it was the ECT sensor. if it doesnt over heat temp wise, then its just a sensor and IS drivable anywhere... its close to me REAL close... so i might get into it

Even closer to me, only 30 miles, but have no car to get there.............

But for what its worth, think its a good bargain, 'specially if you're bit of a DIY mechanic
