1997 Uk Mx-6

Dear All

It has been a long time since I last posted but have now got to sell my beloved car so here I am again!

1997/P MX-6 2.5 V6
Noble Green
Grey leather
Blaupunkt head unit and 10 cd changer
Scorpion back box
16" Mazda alloys
All usual other bits and bobs
Full service history
2 owners from new - I've had it for last 6 years
132k miles
10 months MOT
Fab car!

It has to go unfortunately as I am having a baby in about 8 weeks time, and so have gone and bought myself a Volvo estate instead It has got a few very minor dents and scratches caused by other people in car parks, but has no real damage and has never been in an accident or anything like that. The electric aerial has just stopped retracting but think that is an easy job to fix. Most of the service history is main dealer although I have had a couple done by an independent garage - it is having it's next service tomorrow so will be all up to date. The alloy wheels are pristine and there are Eagle F1's all round - two are only about 6 weeks old and the other two have plenty of tread left on them.

It is priced to sell at £1750 as it has to go. Contact me on emilyjcp@hotmail.com or 07889 408648 for more info. It is also advertised in Autotrader at the mo as well.

Question Hi MX6 girl

For the small amount of money that you will get for her, can't you keep her as a weekend car.

To buy a car like her new today would cost a small fortune.

You can always put a baby seat in the back, plenty of room and baby can to the sound of your CD player.

Hugs

Paula

Hi Emily... was wondering where you had got to

Well, congratulations for the forthcoming birth, and I hope everthing goes well for you..

As for the 6.... would be nice if you could keep it.. even on a SORN certificate... would make a lovely 17th birthday present, and just think of the low miles it will have by then

Hi Paula,

I would love to keep her but already have a weekend car and am running out of room on my drive! I completely agree that for the amount of money I'm asking she is fantastic value - in the six years I've owned her she has never let me down once, nor failed an MOT - and I still enjoy every second of driving her.

Hi John,
Thanks for the congrats. I haven't been around in a while since I've had no problems so haven't needed your knowledge and expertise, plus I don't know anyone any longer! Glad to see that not all has changed on the board though and that you are still here!

just kidding

Also, congratulations (for the impending birth) and commiserations (for having to sell the six).

Dear All

After having had several people phone up and tell me that they're coming to view then never turn up, I am about to put my beloved car on ebay. I now only have a few weeks to go before the baby turns up so am open to offers - I really will consider anything!

If anyone is interested, please contact me on 07889 408648 or email me at emilyjcp@hotmail.com. I will post up the ebay link as soon as the ad is in place, as it will have lots of photos (I hope!).

Good luck Emily! I don't think that you'll acheive a good price on ebay... but what do I know.

Have you tried any of the free ads? If not I post a list.

I am highly sceptical about ebay too - there seem to be loads of them for sale and nobody bidding, but don't really know what to do. I hadn't tghought about free ads so would be really grateful if you could post a list.

Thanks.
