Hmmmmm Nice !!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1997-MAZDA-MX-...QQcmdZViewItem

Is this competion for weltons/Steve's ex-car as 'the best stock Mx-6 i've seen'. Its close, although i have't seen this in the flesh.

Also there is a few low milers around the country, makes a change as they are quite reasonably priced :

A few very nice examples there, not really bargains but still a very good car for relatively little money.

Also: Haha, I know your postcode now!

'too much time sat around doing nothing though me thinks'.

Too true, oh well it is friday after all !!

Was a bit bored and was browsing as i usually do nearly every day. I always get tempted by a new lower miler. But then i think it wouldn't really be fair to rack up the miles on another one so quickly. Mines in good nick anyway.

Right!, am going to have to move house now ! .

If it's as good as Steve's (Welton) which I bought, it's a blinding buy for somebody prepared to pay a premium for condition and low mileage. Always a bit of a worry if it's been sat around unless it 's been regularly run and looked after.

The problem is when you buy a new car, you gain new problems to fix a quirks to work around each time. You're always better off sticking to what you know unless what you know went bang!

H ' mmmmmmm

Hi everyone,

I am going to upset Steve ( Welton ) now but being a total perfectionist ( as John will testify ) there is some rust on the rear wheel arch edges that I will have to sort out when the weather gets warmer. ...

Otherwise it will spread from the edges on to the main panel.

Still all cars have some faults whatever the mileage.

Roll on Spring and I can see a few hours being spent on John's car getting it even better than now....

But I must agree that Steve's ex- car is excellent....

Oh yes, the piping on the driver's seat has come adrift and needs to be fixed but this often happens.

Have a great day everyone.

Paula
