Any interest in a UK MX6?

Hi Peeps

Not posted on here for over a year, anyway thought this might be the place to find a buyer for my 'L' plate MX6.
I am the 2nd owner, it has covered approx 86K, it has been well maintained and is ultra reliable.
Car comes with a new MOT [last month] tax till the end of June, it is in the pearly red colour that sort of sparkles in the sun. Body work is fair, has a few dings here and there nothing that a bit of TLC wont put right.
Not looking for loads, fact is I have to many cars and I am afraid it is time for this one to go.
So, anyone want to make me an offer? Mail me on john.yorke@blueyonder.co.uk

Thanks for looking.

I'll take it for free, or in exchange for my mis-firing MX-6!

Just kidding, I'l ask my mates locally. Did you have a specific price bracket in mind? Got any pic's?

Not a million miles from you, down the road in Essex, no I dont have pictures, it is in good nick though, no rust, no miss-fires, used as a daily driver by the wife, serviced when required.

With a newish MOT would have thought it must be worth something to one of you's peeps.

Where abouts in essex are you from? I have relatives in springfield near Chelmsford. I was born in Chelmsford myself, and lived near halstead for a while.

I'm not having much luck drumming up interest in it yet, but I'll keep at it. I'm bound to turn someone to the dark-side!

To be honest I have no idea on price but I would have thought offers in the £500 - £1000 bracket would be about right, I will have a look on Autotrader and see if there is anything close to mine and come back to you.

OK done a quick search on Autotrader and there is a big range in price!!

As stated car has been well looked after and the bodywork is all in good order apart from the usual dings. It is a genuine 80k the only things comparable was a L plate with 80k in the same colour [passion rose] that was up for £1600 but that has leather and a CD player which mine has not. So yes I would be happy for a club member to offer in the region of £1000.
It will make someone a very nice car with a bit of work.
Anyone interested?

to be honest, the pre '94 models don't tend to fetch as much as the later models, however your instincts aren't far off. I would say that about a grand would be a good price, but with that said cars generally fetch more in east anglia.
