v6 mx6, 626 and probe braking

Hi all,

Well this is my first post here Hi

After my 626 not selling on ebay some of may have seen it, silver 93 at just £250 Its now time to start breaking it to get some money back in after xmas.

All parts are available atm, its even mot'd till june. Met silver in colour all body panels are straight and very little marks.

The engines done just 89k with a couple of stamps in the book, cambelt changed 47k 4 years ago. Auto box is real smooth. Alloys no air con.

In fact the whole thing is a great drive but just cant shift it for some reason.

A friend of mine is also breaking a bright red 96 p plate mx6, also complete but engine f**ked. Manual gearbox on that. U.K. Spec, alloys.

Also various probe 24v bits, clocks, switches, engine minus dizzy

Some of this will be going on ebay sooner or later but for now this is the only place its going as i'd prefer it went to someone in need.

Im going to be posting some pics in the next day or so if i can work out how to do it.

Hes actually coming to your neck of the woods tomorrow to pick up another red one in margate, 7 hrs on the train

I'll ask him Thursday for you. Incendently theres been someone in cornwall thats pm'd about the whole car, will let you know asap.

If your happy to drive the 626 half way to bedfordshire - penhaps meet at andover or somewhere else along the A303?, I would love to buy the whole car as it will act as a very good stop-gap until I get to rebuild my MX6 in the summer. VW the kerb light cover is that?

gavroche i'd be happy to drive it up there but its not got any tax now and i aint insured onit anymore, plus it would cost £50 i recon getting it up there and then theres getting me back to cornwall. I would prefer someone bought it whole i dont really want to break it it too good imo. If your willing to pay for the tax and cover fuel and my return fare £450 approx thats £250 for the car £100 tax £50 petrol and £50 for my return than i'll drive it to yours if you can take me to stansted airport.

Imo its a nicer drive than the mx with the same engine, its the first auto ive ever had and i was really suprised on the power and ride quality.

Hi there V6, what interior has the mx-6 got. If leather what colour and condition is it? May want the steering wheel aswell if available dependant on a future purchase of a new 6 by me.

Davidos12, yes its got leather if i remember rightly nits gray. Drivers seats come apart on the seem it will probably sew, i'll send you some pics if you pm me your email address. Steering wheels available if you want that too.

Right guys and dolls, ive now sold the 626 at the car auctions

( sad for it go so cheaply hope the new onwer gets as much pleasure as i had with it.

Things gone off the mx are: Indicators to oddy, d/s kerblight cover to vw, Possibly the front bumper, possibly the leather and steering wheel.

Theres loads left if anybody needs anything else drop me a line.

Im sorry guys,

It just had to go, its been sitting here since new year not being driven.

I also put it in the freeads this week and the phones gone mental all over the weekend. Aint it always the way when its gone people come out of the woodwork

Wizdom if you really want to you can send me the cash and i'll look after it for you.

Really sorry guys i would have prefered it went to you guys who i know would look after it.
