Hi, guys. I've got no personal interest in this, just saw it, stopped & took pictures.
The interior is spotless, and I mean spotless, and so is the bodywork - as good as it could possibly be. Nice speedlines, too.
It's done 116,ooo on an N-plate and I've told the dealer that 2-2.5k is more realistic - it's marked up at 2999, but I know this dealer to be more flexible than most.
Engine isn't pretty, but runs fine, and the same goes for the cat-back, branded "CT".
Dealer's number's on top of the car. It's near me, so if you want anything looked at, let me know. Spare wheel's a standard 15-incher.

Banjo B Mod, 65mm TB, TwinCAI, 304 s/s zorst (www.exhausts.uk.com), FD wheels w/Toyo T1R, H&R spacers KV85s, Alpine DAB, Sparco pads, Razo titanium pedals/GT weighted gearknob, Gumball3000 livery (yes I did go),green "Fusion" alien (abducted), blue instrument lights, airhorns, strut brace, footwell-mounted DP extinguisher red Silblades, NOS psi gauge, white-blue 5-LED sidelights, 6000K HIDs
Bodywork looks in good nick, but I'm worried about that engine.
The manifold has been scrubbed clean obviously - I think this is one of those untouched engines. The front spark plug HT leads are covered in oil burn-off deposits, so is the front rocker cover. My guess is that the engine is burning oil, probably through a rich mixture, and that it needs attention. Other than that though, the engine 'appears' good enough.
The price is laughable though.
I wouldn't pay more than £1,100 for that. The mileage is high enough (even with the pristine condition) to keep the price down to the grand mark.
nice outside, but my god what about the HT leads? I think he would need to be flexible with the price to pay for the major service the car obviously needs.
[color="Yellow"]I've taken people's money, without delivering goods. I've lied about it, too! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH ME!
Until one actually sees a car and road tests it, it is actually very difficult to know what any car is worth.
I am selling my 1989 Volvo 340 and going to spend nearly £250 on her just to get her as perfect as possible. I don't want any comebacks. Also I want the next owner to be very happy with their purchase.
My price is £595 ono by the way.....;-)
If someone wants a Volvo 340 that has a full service history and two careful owners then they will be willing to pay for it, I am sure.
I paid £3995 in March 2005 for my MX 6 but it came with a 3 year Mazda dealer parts and labour warranty.
So I was more than happy to pay that much.
One of the members on here was offered the car privately by the original owner at much less than I paid for it but he would not buy it.
Sure you can buy a 6 for silly money but if it's not been well cared for, you can soon spend thousands on the vehicle and wish you had not bought it.
Personally I would always prefer to pay over the odds for a good car that has been loved and well looked after.

Thought you said " Three Years Hard Labour " .....
During the first year, my dealer did the odd minor job but nothing major so far.
The main condition of the warranty is that the car is serviced every year by the dealer.
So after discussion with the Service Manager, I decided against paying out £500 plus a year for servicing and have taken a gamble that nothing goes wrong.
So I will be £1000 + better off (hopefully) by the time next March comes along.
He checked the car over after a year and said that being an almost bulletproof Mazda and well serviced and cared for by the previous ownner that the car should be fine.
I sincerely hope so....
